Since 2013, under the initiative of the Group, 625 ancient olive trees—most over 300 years old—that were destined to be cut down and sold for firewood on the mainland have been saved. Instead, they were transported to Ios, where they were given a second life on the Cycladic island.
With the help of experts, 97% of these trees have survived and are now thriving in their "new home."

Water conservation
To address a major problem plaguing many Cycladic islands, such as water scarcity, we proceeded with the construction of rainwater collection tanks. This initiative provides multiple benefits: on the one hand, it enhances efforts for greater water conservation, and on the other hand, it serves as a fire protection measure in combination with the absence of exposed power cables on our properties.

Equine Protection
Driven by our love for nature and animals, we established the Equine Protection Center. This sanctuary serves as a haven for the island's donkeys, allowing them to enjoy a peaceful life, free from the harsh conditions that many equines endure on other islands in our country.
Waste Management
All our facilities implement tertiary wastewater treatment systems and recycling material separation, achieving a 30% reduction in plastic use across the supply chain. Our goal is to transform Ios into a Zero Plastic island.
